Morning Dew (2023)

A documentary that explores audience responses and artists’ intention of the exhibit Morning Dew - The Stigma of Being Brainwashed (2020). The exhibit focuses on unveiling the traumatic histories of Zainichi Koreans, ethnic Korean residents in Japan who face discrimination because of their relationship to North Korea.

This exhibit was housed at the Johnson museum at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. It is a collaboration between artists Soni Kum, Hiroki Yamamoto and Kazuya Takagawa, and Nobuaki Takekawa.
